What to Expect
On the day you'll be suited up in skydiving gear and your tandem master will run you through the safety measures and the practice sessions. In the practice sessions, you'll learn how to exit from an aircraft. You'll also be taught the skydiving basics of canopy control and safe landing procedures. Once the practice is complete, you'll board your aircraft with your tandem master for a 20 minute flight to reach jump altitude.
Following final checks, it's time to hop out and put your practice into a real jump. Reaching speeds of up to 200kph you'll free fall for approximately 60 seconds. It will feel like you are on a cushion of air. The parachute is deployed at around 4500 feet, offering lots of time to enjoy the beauty of this region.
For those a little more adventurous, grab hold of your adrenal gland as you take the controls of your parachute and fly with your instructor onto the soft white sands of the beach.
