What to Expect
Arrive at the New South Wales paintballing facility at 9 in the morning. When you arrive, you'll suit up in first-class combat gear, including a combat suit, a full-helmet and goggles and body armor. You'll need your weapon, of course, so your suiting up will also include the latest US spec semi-automatic paintball marker and an ammunition holder with a capacity for 400 rounds.
Following your physical preparation, you and your friends will join others for a brief informational meeting during which you'll understand the rules of play and get some safety guidelines. If you've never played paintball before, you'll likely appreciate the basic paintball techniques you'll also get.
Now you're ready and your paintball day will begin. You and your friends will run through a number of different courses, all of which are based on Hollywood movies. You might have to rescue the fallen aircraft pilot in the Behind Enemy Lines course, or secure the priceless artifacts in the Tomb Raider course. Other courses include Escape from Guantanamo Bay, Checkpoint Charlie, and Tropic Thunder.
Numbers
Your voucher is good for a full day of paintball for ten people.
Weather
Play continues even in the rain. All the game zones are in the outdoors, but the facility has areas that are sheltered and there are lockers in base camp where gear can be stowed in between games.
Duration
The paintballing day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., following an awards ceremony.
Dress
Wear comfortable clothes and old running shoes that can get dirty. You might want to bring a change of clothes so you can put on clean, dry clothes once your day is over. Full combat gear is provided
Availability
Paintballing is available 7 days per week, throughout the year, subject to booking availability. We recommend you book at least 2 weeks ahead to avoid disappointment.
Other Information
You may bring your own equipment, but it's up to the paintball center manager as to whether or not you can use your equipment instead of the facility equipment. You must buy paintballs at the centre and you cannot bring your own gas cylinders.
The minimum age for paintballing is 16 years old in New South Wales.
Additional paintballs are available to purchase on the day of your experience.
