What to Expect
You'll begin the Shark dive experience with a tunnel tour where you are introduced to the sharks from a distance. From here you'll learn first hand about the sharks and their habitat and can ask questions before your heart pounding aquatic adventure begins.
After some time spent in the classroom learning about scuba equipment and safety requirements, divers then gear up in wetsuits and weight belts. It's time to psych up and enter the dive training pool adjacent to the 5,000,000 litre tank where the sharks await. Here divers learn how to breathe underwater with personalised tuition from our dive instructors.
Once the instructors see that you are comfortable using the equipment in the water, the time is right to enter the main shark tank and get up close with Jaws and his friendly pals. The tank contains an endless number of creatures that are very keen to meet you with four different species of sharks including seven adult and one juvenile Grey Nurse Shark. You will also encounter giant turtles and the marine life of Sydney Harbour and lots more during your adventure.
