What to expectWhat to Expect

Be warned this V8 race car is not for the faint hearted. Experience the most exhilarating drive ever in a V8 with experienced race drivers involved in the motor racing fraternity.

Your day starts off at Barbagallo Raceway with a briefing conducted by experienced race drivers, who will talk you through racing lines and track driving techniques. Then it's on with your driver's suit and helmet. You'll be strapped into the passenger seat for some observation laps where your driver will demonstrate techniques on cornering, apexes and exiting using the best techniques for braking, acceleration, steering, gear changes and car control. With the microphone in your helmet, you're completely free to ask questions.

Next you'll take to the circuit for 6 laps in a 450 bhp V8 Commodore where you get to drive this amazing vehicle. Reach speeds of up to 200kph then return back to home base, for your three hot laps with your instructor at the wheel. After the event, you receive a certificate with photograph, autographed by your instructor as well as an instructional DVD and a cap.

Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions e.g. heavy rain or high winds which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.

Allow 3 hours at the track. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your booked time.

How to dress on the dayDress

Wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes. On the day, the operator will provide you with full driving attire. You must be able to fit into a XXXL race suit.

Available on a limited number of dates throughout the year. Dates fill very quickly, so we recommend you book at least four weeks in advance.

additional information you should know aboutOther Information

No licence is required, however you must be able to drive a manual vehicle. An optional DVD of your ride is available at additional cost of $125.00, payable to the operator on the day of your experience. Please allow three to four weeks for delivery.

Minimum age is 18. Upon arrival for your experience, you will be required to sign an indemnity form.
