What to Expect

Upon arrival at the track you are kitted up in your race attire and directed to the briefing room for a safety briefing. Your professional race car instructor will take you out to the circuit for sighting laps in a road car. The sighting laps are common with all race car drivers and enable you to recognise the best driving lines and braking points. Once these laps are completed, you are taken to pit lane where the real fun begins!

Fitted with a racing helmet, you'll be belted up into the drivers seat of a race prepared V8 Super Drive Race Car. In constant radio contact with your instructor you'll be coached through a drive session you will never forget with fast and precise laps around the Calder Park race circuit just like a real pro. You will be amazed at the blisteringly fast speed and the overall handling performance of the V8 race car.

With 6 laps to enjoy, there's time to fine tune your driving technique, attacking the bends and racing lines you learnt in the sighting laps. At the end, you'll feel like a pro ready to take on more laps as all the adrenalin continues to charge through your veins.

Numbers

Voucher is valid for one person. Your experience will be within a small group of 4 to 5 people.

Weather

In the event that your experience is postponed due to poor weather, the operator will arrange an alternative date with you.

Duration

You should allow approximately 3 hours at the race track.

Dress

We recommend that you dress in casual, comfortable clothing and wear flat shoes. A race suit and helmet are provided on the day.

Availability

Available on selected weekends and weedays throughout the year. Sessions times 8:15am, 10am, 12pm and 2pm.

Dates are provided as a guideline and are subject to daily change.

Other Information

An in-car DVD can be ordered on the day for $99. A photo of you alongside a V8 race car is FREE! If you would like the photo framed it will be $10.

Participants must have a current drivers licence that must be presented on the day of the event. You must be over 18 and capable of driving a manual car. There is zero tolerance on alcohol. The operator reserves the right to refuse any person deemed to be or found to be acting in an unsafe manner.
