What to Expect

Be warned this V8 race car is not for the faint hearted. Experience the most exhilarating drive ever in a V8 with experienced race drivers involved in the motor racing fraternity.

Your day starts off with a briefing conducted by experienced race drivers, who will talk you through racing lines and track driving techniques. Then it's on with your driver's suit and helmet. You'll be strapped into the passenger seat for some observation laps where your driver will demonstrate techniques on cornering, apexes and exiting using the best techniques for braking, acceleration, steering, gear changes and car control. With the microphone in your helmet, you're completely free to ask questions.

Next you'll take to the Club Circuit for 10 laps in a 450bhp V8 Commodore where you get to drive this amazing vehicle. Reach speeds of up to 200kph then return back to home base, for your two hot laps with your instructor at the wheel. After the event, you receive a certificate with photograph, autographed by your instructor as well as an instructional DVD and a cap.

Many of our instructors are big in Motor Racing. A selection of our instructors include names from Marshall Brewer, Steve Owen, David Reynolds, Nathan Pretty, Rowan Harman, Asher Johnson, Nick Percat, Dean Fiore, Stephen White and many more. Although we can't guarantee a specific instructor due to race schedules, you can be assured of the best line up available in Australia.

Numbers

Voucher valid for one person. Your briefing will be shared with others.

Weather

Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions e.g. heavy rain or high winds which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.

Duration

Allow 3 hours at the track. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your booked time.

Dress

Wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes. On the day, the operator will provide you with full driving attire. You must be able to fit in a XXXL race suit.

Availability

Available on selected dates throughout the year. Session times: 8:15am, 10:45am and 1:15pm.

Dates are provided as a guideline and are subject to daily change.

Other Information

You must be able to drive a manual vehicle. An optional DVD of your ride is available at additional cost, payable to the operator on the day of your experience.

Participants must have a current drivers licence that must be presented on the day of the event. You must be over 18 and capable of driving a manual car. There is zero tolerance on alcohol. The operator reserves the right to refuse any person deemed to be or found to be acting in an unsafe manner.
