Yarra Ballooning and Wine Tour

What to Expect

The Yarra Valley is one of Victoria's most spectacular winery regions. Let the breeze usher you along the corridors of grape vines and over the Yarra River as you take in the breathtaking views of mountains that surround the valley from an amazing Hot Air Balloon.

Help the pilot inflate the balloon, then spend an hour in the air taking in the spectacular views. Back on land, enjoy a buffet breakfast before embarking on a wine tour taking in Yering Station, Rochfords, Yering Farm and Domaine Chandon. Includes lunch and nibbles.

Numbers

Voucher valid for one person. A minimum of 4 and a maximum of 16 people will join you on the day.

Weather

Should the flight be cancelled due to inclement weather, you may rebook another day. Your wine tour may however proceed as planned. Flights are usually confirmed the night before.

Duration

Allow 4 hours for the balloon experience, with 1 hour in the air. The wine tour is an all day event.

Dress

Wear comfortable clothing relevant to the season that will not restrict active participation in inflating the balloon or climbing in and out of the balloon. Bring a camera, a hat or cap.

Availability

Available all year round. Vouchers for children are available at a reduced price.

Other Information

If your flight is cancelled due to poor weather, your wine tour may proceed. If this occurs, your balloon flight will be rescheduled for another day.

You should have a standard level of fitness and be able to climb into and out of the basket and stand for the hour's flight. We do not fly ladies who are more than 12 weeks pregnant. Not suitable for people with a medical condition e.g. back problems.
