What to Expect

Imagine, floating above the Barossa, drifting with the breeze and not a care in the world. Dreaming? Think again Ballooning is probably the most romantic form of transportation, from the traditional wicker basket to the champagne breakfast. Balloon flying in the morning, wine tasting in the afternoon. Sound tempting? Make the dream a reality and become a Certified Balloonatic.

Numbers

You fly with a maximum of 16 other passengers. Minimum of 2.

Weather

Like most flying experiences, hot air ballooning is subject to prevailing weather conditions. Please call the provider the afternoon before your flight to check it will go ahead.

Duration

Your experience is for between 4 and 5 hours with approximately an hour in the air.

Dress

Wear flat soled walking shoes, a hat, and reading glasses if you need them.

Availability

We are available to fly seven days a week, all year round, weather permitting.

Other Information

A camera is a must. Photographers just love the sensational 360 degree views.

You must be between 6 and 16 years old. You should be able to bend your knees and hold on with both hands to the rope handles inside the basket. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority rules prevent us from carrying handicapped or disabled people.
