What to Expect
Enjoy a very special hot air balloon flight over Melbourne with Australia's first commercial hot air balloon operator.
At the launch site, you are free to sit back and watch the preparations or help the pilot inflate the balloon. The balloon slowly rises into the morning sky ready for you to jump in the basket. Once the ropes are untied and after a few bursts of the burner, you'll gently rise into the sky on the start of your adventure over Melbourne.
Glide silently with the wind and watch in excitement as the city of Melbourne wakes below you. It's a magnificent and memorable experience that will stay with you for a lifetime.
After one hour in the air, return in true tradition for a gourmet champagne breakfast in the absolute luxury of the Langham Hotel Melbourne.
Numbers
The experience voucher is valid for one person. Up to 30 passengers can be catered for on the day.
Weather
By its nature, hot air ballooning is highly dependant upon weather conditions. You are requested to call the pilot the night before the flight.
Duration
The experience lasts between 5 - 6 hours with approximately 1 hour flying time.
Dress
Dress in comfortable clothing for the season. A warm jacket, waterproof shoes and warm socks essential. Don't forget the camera and plenty of film to capture the experience.
