What to Expect

Have you ever looked up and thought of the romance of a hot air balloon drifting silently overhead? The dream can be you and your partner's reality. Surprise your partner with an early morning limousine pickup from your Byron Bay accommodation. At your destination, help the pilot inflate the balloon and spend a full hour in the air with just yourself and your partner. Your pilot will gently help the balloon climb up to 5000ft over the spectacular scenery as the world awakens below. Return for a champagne breakfast at one of Byron's best.

Weather

Ballooning is very weather dependent - it is crucial you call the centre before your flight. In event of postponement you will be offered an alternative date.

Duration

The experience lasts for 3 -4 hours with approximately 1 hour spent in the air.

Dress

Sturdy shoes are recommended as feet can get wet in the early morning dew. Bring sunglasses, a cap, sunscreen and something warm to wear. No skirts or high heels.

Availability

This experience is available all year round subject to prevailing weather conditions.

Other Information

Spectators are welcome to watch the launch and wave you off. They can also join the chase vehicle and the celebrations for a small additional fee payable to the operator on the day.

People with aggravated back, hip or leg problems, those who have had recent operations or an ear condition and pregnant women are requested to consult their doctor before flying.
