What to Expect

Your morning begins before dawn, when the air is stable and the winds are calm, ensuring a tranquil flight. After a short flight briefing, help the pilot inflate the balloon. As the sun's first rays lighten the skies, the balloon swells, slowly taking its form.... Soon after, the balloon silently takes off and starts drifting with the wind, controlled by the experienced pilot that will give you a brief introduction to how a balloon is controlled and flown. Spend an hour in the air taking in the views and land for a celebratory breakfast.

Your voucher is valid for one child aged 5 and over.

Weather

Ballooning is very weather dependent - it is crucial you call the centre before your flight. In event of postponement you will be offered an alternative date.

Duration

The experience lasts for 3 -4 hours with approximately 1 hour in the air.

Dress

Sturdy shoes are recommended as feet can get wet in the early morning dew. Bring sunglasses, a cap, sunscreen and something warm to wear. No skirts or high heels.

Availability

This experience is available all year round subject to prevailing weather conditions.

Other Information

Spectators are welcome to watch the launch and wave you off. They can also join the chase vehicle and the celebrations for a small additional fee payable to the operator on the day.

Minimum age is 5 years. Must be under 30kgs. People with aggravated back, hip or leg problems, those who have had recent operations or an ear condition and pregnant women are requested to consult their doctor before flying.
