What to Expect

Get high on the Great Barrier Reef! Departing from Cairns take to the air on a spectacular scenic flight seeing Cairns and the surrounding rain forest covered mountains before flying over several stunning reef locations. Be amazed by the aqua blue colours and the expanse of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef. This unforgettable flight concludes by landing at our exclusive helicopter pontoon at North Hastings Reef to board the vessel Osprey V. Here you'll spend the afternoon enjoying a range of underwater activities with swimming, snorkeling, semi-submersible coral viewing tour and lunch all included. Scuba diving, either for the beginner or experienced diver, is also available at an additional cost. The afternoon is complete with a leisurely cruise back to Cairns with a complimentary glass of wine, cheese & crackers, live entertainment and a tropical fruit platter.

Voucher valid for one. There will be a small number of people sharing your experience.

Weather

This experience is dependant on the weather. The semi-submersible coral viewing tour will only be available in good weather.

Duration

The experience is for half a day, Check-in at 12:15pm and returning 5pm.

Dress

Wear loose comfortable clothing. Sun glasses are recommended all year round.

Flights are available all year round except December 25th and January 1st

Other Information

There is an additional Environmental Management Charge EMC of $10 per person which can be paid on the day of the experience.

All ages can be catered for. You will need to provide your approximate weight at the time of booking.
