What to expectWhat to Expect

The Shoalwater Adventure is an exhilarating 90 minute combination of adventure style cruising and wildlife viewing which begins with meeting Rockingham's renowned wild dolphins! The marine park is home to Logo, Boomerang, Blizzard and over 200 other local dolphins that we have come to know as friends.

You may see mothers caring for new born calves, learn how they use stingrays to catch their dinner or watch the boys showing off to attract the girls.

After experiencing some quality time together with the dolphins, our cruise returns through Shoalwater Bay for a close up look at the islands and to take advantage of the best wildlife viewing programs of the day. Highlights include visiting the sea lions at Seal Island, the ospreys nest on Gull Rock and also the pelican rookery on Penguin Island plus regular sightings of over 16 varieties of other sea birds.

The cruise concludes on Penguin Island and includes your entry to the penguin feeding inside the Discovery Centre. You're then free to explore beautiful Penguin Island at your pleasure. Enjoy white sandy beaches and secluded bays, great for swimming and getting a tan. There are colourful limestone reefs and sea grass meadows that provide among the best snorkeling opportunities in Perth. A network of wooden board walks and nature trails allow people to explore and take in the beautiful coastal scenery. Visitors are often amazed at how close they get to the sea birds which nest within metres of the board walk and have no fear of people. There's also an ideal picnic area looking over a shallow sheltered beach that's ideal for children. When you are ready to return, catch the return ferry of your choosing at 1.10pm, 2.10pm, 3.10pm or 4pm.

This is an eco-tourism operator who respects wild dolphins and their habitat. There is no feeding or expectations on the dolphins to perform tricks. There are no refunds in the event of not finding dolphins, however we experience a 99% success rate

We recommend this experience is suited for ages 3 years and above.
