What to Expect

Take to the skies in an fully restored vintage Tiger Moth, a very robust, reliable and strong aircraft.

Your pilot will introduce you to the Tiger Moth and it's history. After a safety briefing, you will don the Biggles-style flying jacket and goggles for this spectacular trip in an open cockpit. With the prop spinning, you'll take to the skies for a 30 minute aerobatic flight. You'll need nerves of steel as your pilot puts the plane through it's paces. From barrel rolls, loop the loops, stall turns and spins - its an amazing experience.

Along the way there is plenty of time to enjoy the scenery of the Redcliffe coast!

Numbers

Voucher is valid for one person. There will be just you and your pilot in the Tiger Moth.

Weather

Flying can be affected by poor weather. If you are in doubt that the flight will take place, you can call the operator the morning of your flight to check it will go ahead.

Duration

You will be in the air for approximately 30 minutes.

Dress

Wear warm, comfortable clothing for these open-cockpit planes. Helmets, goggles and gloves are provided. If you have long hair, you`ll need something to tie it back.

Availability

This experience is available on weekends only all year round subject to prevailing weather conditions.

Other Information

Spectators are welcome to visit and see you off and wave you in on your return. Bring a camera and if you have them a pair of binoculars.

Minimum age is 6. If you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. Unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone unable to climb into the open cockpit. If you have a medical condition please check with your doctor first.
