Experience the best of both worlds as you prepare to sky dive over Mission Beach and take in the breath-taking beauty of the fabulous Coral Sea Islands region.

You are greeted by our friendly staff before meeting your experienced tandem skydive instructor. Your instructor will fit you with our free fly skydive pants and latest technology harness and walk you through your skydive training for approximately 20 minutes.

Your instructor will control all of your equipment so you can just enjoy the ride! Then you will board the plane for your ride to height over the Coral Sea Islands taking in the breathtaking views of the coast. On board with the crew, feel your excitement building in anticipation. Then the door of the plane will open and your amazing skydive begins with an exhilarating rush of adrenalin as you exit the plane!

In free fall you will feel the air rushing past you and see our amazing coastal views as you fly back to earth at approximately 220km/hour. Then your canopy will open and you fly back to the drop zone.
  • Your instructor fits you with fly skydive pants and the latest technology harness before taking you through your skydive training.
  • Board the plane for your ride to a height over the Islands taking in the breathtaking views of the coast.
  • Jumping from 9000ft, you will feel the air rushing past you as you fly back to earth at approximately 220km/ hour.
  • Receive a signed certificate from your instructor, as a memento of the adrenaline charged occasion.

Allow 3 hours for the entire experience.

Weather

For safety, we do not jump in strong winds or through cloud. If the weather is a problem at the time of your sky dive, we will delay your jump or reschedule it for a later date.

Other Information

All of our sky dive staff are highly trained qualified members of the Australian Parachute Federation. Free pick up from Cairns can be organised with the operator. Photos and DVD options are also available by contacting the operator.
Minimum age for sky diving is 14 years. People under the age of 18 years must have guardian's consent and be accompanied throughout briefing by a guardian. Maximum weight limit is 110kg. If you have a medical condition, please consult your doctor.

Availability

The tandem skydiving operates 7 days per week from 7.30am until dark, except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
