What to Expect

The great outdoors has always been at the centre of most things Australian but getting out beyond the hard bitumen has long been preserve of the off roader. And let's face it, off roaders were never built to sit nose to tail in rush hour.

To find out what you're 4x4 or SUV is really capable of this experience has it all. You'll tackle some challenging terrain and obstacles in magnificent surroundings. Navigate wombat holes, mounds, creek crossings, mud and sand driving, ascent and descent and learn how best to recover your vehicle.

You'll start with a safety briefing and learn about the technicalities of your own vehicle before you get behind the wheel to conquer the many hazards of this boot camp 4WD course. Best of all the skills you learn can be deployed in normal day to day driving situations as well as off road.

Numbers

Voucher is valid for one person. One passenger can join you on the day.

Weather

Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions. Please call the operator if in any doubt on the day.

Duration

The experience runs for three hours.

Dress

We recommend you wear casual clothing and flat soled shoes.

Available throughout the year.

Other Information

You must hold a current driver's license and be a minimum of 16 years old. Spectators are welcome to attend to see you through the experience.

One passenger may attend with you on the experience. If you do not have a suitable vehicle, you can hire one from the operator for an additional $150.
