When you arrive for the V8 experience at Calder Park, you are fitted with a complete race outfit. The crew provide a comprehensive driver briefing that focuses on the cars, the track and safety precautions. Afterwards your professional race car driver and instructor for the V8 event, will take you over to the circuit for sighting laps in a road car. Sighting laps are routine with all race car drivers. These laps can help you understand the driving lines and also the best braking points to adopt on the Calder Park race track. Once these laps are completed, you're taken to pit lane - the place where the real V8 fun begins!

The crew fit you with a helmet and then belt you into the driver's seat of a fully, race prepared, V8 Super Race Car. In constant radio contact with your pro driver you'll be coached through a drive session that you won't forget. Enjoy fast and precise laps around Calder Park like a real pro. You'll be impressed by the pace and the performance of the Super drive race car which has over 400bhp for you to command, reaching speeds as high as 200kmh. On completion, you'll be given a framed photograph of yourself with a V8 Super Drive race car.

Commence your experience with a briefing that covers the cars, safety precautions and describes what you can expect from the drive.

Prepare for your drive with full racing attire and sighting laps around the circuit to learn the brake and acceleration points.

Enjoy 8 scintillating laps driving a V8 Race Car.

This racing experience is weather dependent, if it is cancelled due to bad weather your booking can be rescheduled.

Other Information

A DVD of your ride is available at additional cost and is payable to the operator on the day of your experience. Please allow three to four weeks for delivery.
Participants must have a current drivers licence that must be presented on the day of the event. You must be over 18 and capable of driving a manual car. There is zero tolerance on alcohol. The operator reserves the right to refuse any person deemed to be or found to be acting in an unsafe manner.
