Paddle past huge granite cliffs reminiscent of Wilsons Promontory's landscape and paddle into sea caves on an exciting journey of discovery. You'll find this area a real adventure and a great way to get away from it all. With gentle rolling waters, sea life abounds with seals, penguins and the occasional pod of dolphins and the lunch spot is a real 'corker'. Your experience begins with a short discussion on the day ahead and a dry capsize drill. Then it's into the water for a day of adventure and discovery. Lunch is provided.

Your qualified guide will introduce you to the kayak and safety gear.

Try your hand at a dry capsize drill, warm up and pair up with your kayak partner for the day.

Learn the basic strokes for 30 minutes before setting off in a group tour.

Throughout your jouney your guide offers insights on environmental features and local history.

Numbers

Voucher is valid for one person. There will be a minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 people on the trip.

Duration

The tour commences 9:30am and completes at 3:00pm.

Weather

This experience may be affected by the weather. If the wind forecast is over 20 knots or if there are lightning predictions, then the tour will be rescheduled to another time.

Other Information

Lunch is provided as part of your tour. You'll be required to sign an indemnity form and complete a medical questionnaire prior to participating in the experience.
You must be at least 14 years of age and have a reasonable level of fitness. You should be confident in and around water and you should be able to swim at least 50m. This experience is not suitable if you have a bad back, broken bones, wrist or shoulder injuries.

Availability

Tours operate every day of the year, subject to demand. Our busiest times include weekends and the hotter months between October - April.
