Experience adventure and tranquility on a kayak tour of Docklands A sea kayak tour provides a unique way to experience the city and it's landscape from sea level. Sea Kayaking is perfect for beginners and a great way to get up close with yachts, ferries and passing ships, while exploring the views of Victoria Harbour, South Bank and Westgate Bridge. This tour is a 3 hour introduction to sea kayaking taken at a gentle pace to help ensure you thoroughly enjoy your kayaking experience.

Your qualified guide will introduce you to the kayak and the safety gear.

Over 3 hours, relax as you take in the Melbourne city views from the waters edge.

Choose to paddle in the afternoon sunlight or wait for the sun to go down for a twilight paddle.

A great sampler to find out what sea kayaking is like taken at a gentle pace.

Numbers

Voucher is valid for one person. There will be a minimum of 4 and maximum of 12 people on the trip.

Duration

The tour commences at three time points. 9 am, 1pm and 6pm and lasts for approximately 3 hours.

Weather

This experience may be affected by the weather. If the wind forecast is over 35 knots or if there are lightning predictions, then the tour will be rescheduled to another time.

Other Information

You'll be required to sign an indemnity form and complete a medical questionnaire prior to participating in the experience. Snacks and drinks included.
You must be at least 14 years of age and have a reasonable level of fitness. You should be confident in and around water and you should be able to swim at least 50m. This experience is not suitable if you have a bad back, broken bones, wrist or shoulder injuries.

Availability

Tours operate everyday of the year, subject to demand. Our busiest times include weekends and the hotter months between October - April.
