What to Expect

Saddle up and enjoy the gorgeous scenery and a fantastic beach ride. It's a wonderful way to take in the countryside, to get fresh air, relax and develop skills in the saddle.

From beginners to experienced riders, the day is designed to cater for all levels. You'll discover the immense delights and beauty of horse riding as you transverse sand dunes, ride across Kelly's swamp and along the few remaining beaches where you can ride a horse.

The beach is a beautiful, deserted, pristine expanse of sand that stretches for 20km from Warrnambool to Port Fairy, without rocky outcrops or any other stops.

We offer horse riders of all abilities the opportunity to enjoy beach riding under expert instruction from qualified staff that have many years of experience. Our specially bred horses cater for anyone from the anxious beginner to the very experienced rider, so everyone can enjoy the fun of horse riding at their own pace. Horse riding is truly a great activity. It is a fantastic way to spend some time outdoors, its exercise for your whole body and it's a heap of fun!

Weather

This experience is conducted in all but extreme weather conditions.

Duration

This is a 2 hour horse ride. You should arrive 20 minutes early to prepare for the ride.

Dress

Dress in comfortable clothing and allow for some extra warm clothing during the cooler seasons.

The experience is available all year round.

Other Information

This experience is suitable for both first time horse riders and more experienced riders.

The minimum age is 9 years old but exceptions will be considered for experienced and capable riders under 9.
