What to Expect

Come aboard for a fishing adventure, take your chance at hooking a snapper, flathead or gumy shark - they are all just a cast away!

This is a great morning out fishing starting from St Kilda. You and the group will have a quick safety briefing from the skipper, before departing the dock. Using the latest equipment, the skipper will select a good spot and drop anchor so you can get on with the fishing! No prior fishing experience is needed, and your skipper is always to hand to help and advise on the best methods.

A sausage sizzle, tea and coffee is provided and your fishing experience includes all the high quality fishing equipment you need plus bait and tackle.

Your skipper takes real pride in his extraordinary knowledge and passion for fishing, life at sea and the environment. You'll have plenty of time to pick up the best tricks and tips.

Numbers

Valid for 3. There will be a minimum of 12 people and maximum of 20 people per boat.

Weather

All trips are subject to suitable weather conditions and if necessary, your booking may be rescheduled. The operator will contact you 12 to 24 hours beforehand if the weather is unsuitable for a trip

Duration

The experience lasts 5 hours from 6am to 11am departing St Kilda.

Dress

We recommend you bring a sun hat, sun screen, sturdy shoes or boots, a warm jumper, spray jacket and sun glasses.

Availability

We recommend that you book 1 to 2 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.

Other Information

The vessel has full facilities on board. We are licensed and alcohol is permitted to be taken on board in the form of canned beer only and with a limit per person. You MUST have a fishing license. Licences are valid for 48 hours at a cost of $6.00pp

You may be required to inform the operator of any existing medical condition and medication. You will also be required to sign a liability release form prior to departure. Full terms and conditions are available from the operator on the day.
