What to Expect
Dive! An Open Water Diver course is a safe and enjoyable introduction to the world of scuba diving. The course includes theory tutorials, pool and open water training, incorporating both shore and at least one boat dive. The most modern training methods, teaching aids and dive equipment are used by experienced instructors, whose qualifications are recognised in over 100 countries throughout the world. Upon completion of the course you are qualified to the PADI Open Water Diver standard, and will receive your internationally recognized certification card.
Numbers
The size of each course is restricted to ensure that you receive the maximum individual tuition.
Weather
This experience is dependant on the weather and will not take place if the sea or the weather is unfavorable. However should that happen the trips may be rescheduled.
Duration
The course runs over two weekends.
Dress
For personal fit, comfort, and hygiene, it is necessary for you to supply your own Mask, Snorkel, Fins and Boots. Staff will to assist you with professional advice on the appropriate equipment.

Other Information
For safety we recommend that you be able to swim at least 200 metres and tread water for 10 minutes. A Medical Clearance as per Australian Standards [AS 4005.1] is required within 90 days prior to commencing your course. The minimum age for participation is fifteen.
