What to Expect

You'll meet with artist Muriel Moret (also known as Mimi), a French-born but Australian-based artist who has worked professionally since 2003. She is a self-taught painter and abstract artist. She'll host you in her private, but homey and relaxed, studio. She will provide you with an introduction to abstract painting and using acrylics. She'll teach you in her abstract and fun method to have fun with art, to develop confidence, and to create personal masterpieces that reflect your vision of art.

This is a non-intimidation zone. Bring your creativity but don't worry about raw talent. Your job here is to enjoy learning about art and to let Mimi bring out the inner artist in you.

Dress

Wear casual, comfortable clothes that you can get dirty. Mimi likes her patrons to have fun while playing with paint; no fussy outfits here, please!
