What to Expect

Don the leather flying helmet and goggles and get ready for a flight of pure nostalgia, from an era of romance and excitement. After an introductory briefing and a tour of the plane, you'll be strapped into the seat and the plane prepared for take off. With all checks made, the propeller is swung to start the engine.

You will be up and away in the Tiger Moth on a spectacular flight that lasts for 20 minutes. Your pilot will steer the Tiger Moth on a joy flight of the surrounding area around Point Cook in Victoria.

Upon your return you will be assisted from the aircraft by the ground crew where there is an opportunity for more photos.

Numbers

This is one on one with your fully qualified pilot.

Weather

Flying is weather dependent. The operator will call you if weather conditions are unfavourable on the day to reschedule your flying experience.

Duration

Arrive 15 minutes beforehand and expect to be in the air for approximately 20 minutes.

Dress

Wear warm, comfortable clothing for these open-cockpit planes. Leather flying jacket, helmet, goggles and gloves are provided on the day. If you have long hair, you``ll need something to tie it back.

Availability

This experience is available all year round on weekends, subject to prevailing weather conditions.

Other Information

Spectators are welcome to see you off and wave you in on your return. Bring a camera and if you have them a pair of binoculars. You will need to sign for a visitors pass at the operators facilities.

Minimum age is 6. If you fit into a standard car seat you should be comfortable in the cockpit. Unsuitable for pregnant women or anyone unable to climb into the open cockpit. If you have a medical condition, check with your doctor beforehand.
